The only time you should open with a neg is when you're dealing with 9's and 10's, and this is wayyy to much, even for them. The whole point of a neg is not to insult but to make an offhand comment that makes them self-conscious. Something like this sounds more like cocky funny, but no amount of either will make this one work.
