Not bad at picking up girls in general but theres this one girl that I have really really liked for a long time. Was texting her for a while but didnt lead anywere etc. She works in my local shop and anytime I go in she always seems sort of excited and speaks to me, we talk and thats it. usually I would have no problem sorting out a date with a girl this girl is different. I know her friend who says that she has constantly male attention as she is very good looking (in my opinion HB 9.0) but this has stopped me from even trying. I THINKKKKKK she is interested, for example anytime i go into shop she will always say i smell good or i look nice etc but is that her just being nice or what. she is a very nice girl but in my eyes, shes a bit of a player, how do i seperate myself from the 10 other boys that shes after.

I've looked around on this site to. It really is true though. The only way to cure oneitus, is to get with other women and it will take your mind off of your oneitus. TRY IT!

Men have get oneitis 1.) because they have an overly idealistic view of the woman (putting the pussy on a pedestal) or 2.) Their pride is involved. And you want her desperately so that you don't feel inadequate....

If your problem is one you need to think about her faults and if your problem is two you need to remember your strengths. However, the problem men usually have their pride involved and have an idealistic view of women. But, oneitis is all pyschological.

I remember I watched King of the Hill one time and the kid I think bobby is his name was having girl problems...so he told his dad so him and his dad just went to go work on a car. It did not solve the problem but it got his mind off of the problem. So, if I am ever stressed over a girl....I go play basketball, I play PS3, I lift weights...I occupy my mind. I dont just sit on the couch and cry and watch soap operas....

Give it one last direct shot, but make a promise to yourself that if she rejects you that you would never go back even if she change her mind in the future. Once you know that there isn't any chance at all (If you fail) only then can you accept it and move on.
