Hey Everyone,

My first field report here. I'm gonna try to explain every step I made and I would be very happy with your feedback on this, because I just don't understand some stuff.

Let's begin:

I was helping a friend with a workshop 3 days ago. After that, there was an award ceremony with free drinks afterwards. I met some guys during the workshop and we went to the award ceremony together to get the free drinks (duh) in the afterparty. So while being there, there was this really pretty girl (I say hb8) talking with another girl.
I noticed she was watching me and her foot pointed to me, I took that as an IOI and smiled while making eye contact, then ignored her a few mins. (calibrating)

After like 10 mins, she was talking with an old guy who was also attending the award ceremony. I said to the 3 guys standing with me at a table: "Invite her to the table". They had no guts to do it (I wanted to make them wing for me on that one) so I figured I needed to do it myself.
I cleared the table a bit, made space and made gestures to the old man "come and stand here". The girl followed.

I talked with the old man for like 10-15 minutes, completely ignoring the girl. The other 2 guys (1 walked away) were trying to impress and impress her. She walked away..
Talking with the old man, I got info from him that he was her boss and I figured she would come back because of that. And she did, at the exact same moment that her boss left, she came.

She gave me multiple IOI's, including laughing at stupid jokes and I negged her a few times in front of the other guys. Also, while she was talking with the other guys, I turned my back at her and ignored her. (I saw her foot pointing at me and I took that as 'she finds me more interesting then them, so she will ask for my attention later', and she did)
The guys left, because they had to go, so I was alone with her.

We talked and laughed, smiled, had fun... etcetera etcetera. 45 mins later she had to go. I said "Is there any way to keep contact?, I think your fun" and she gave me her...yes...facebook name... wow. impressive right? -.-

anyway, she did go with a friend to the dj from the afterparty. I decided not to be an AFC so I opened another set just to DHV. After her talk with the DJ, she came back for me to give me 3 kisses on the cheek (In the netherlands we give 3) and she left.

I added her to facebook that evening by accident (wanted to wait a bit), but she still doesnt add me and looking back I thought I played solid game here, but all I got was a facebook name and the idea that "maybe" she will accept my friend request. My question: "where did it go wrong? Or didn't it?"

seems like i would need a few more details to offer an opinion. are you leaving out some info on what went down at club? were you pushing too hard and she went off to flirt with dj? however, sounds like you know what you are doing and i wouldn't let this one bother you

i'm a newbie and so i'm not sure but i would think facebook for first contact might make the woman a little nervous. i turn down facebook requests on occasion, i dont want people i barely know to look at pictures of my son

side note...my dutch world cup 2010 jersey is my best sarging shirt. go orange:)

Can be buyers remorse or anything else. She might not be a regular FB user.

Basically you went wrong by not getting her number. FB is just another step to eventually get her number to eventually get a date to eventually get laid. Cut steps out.

FB is pretty much the shittiest close (after email) btw. Just get her number ("you're awesome. Im taking your number") or better make some vague plans and get the number in concordance with that.

She added me as a friend today, so I decided I'm gonna wait a few days before talking to her. Noticed on her profile she has a Boyfriend who she never mentioned.. (could be the reason for not exchanging phone numbers yet?) But thats not gonna hold me for practicing

about buyers remorse... The way to go against that is to actually build more rapport/comfort in "C1" right?

@typun i took the going away and flirting with a DJ as a shit/congruence test to see if I would follow her or get jealous.. I decided to do my own thing and go back into another set. She then came back later to give me three kisses before going home, so I figured I did well on that one, but not sure

About the orange shirt...Here in the Netherlands, everyone is wearing orange SPAM. So I'm not exactly 'peacocking' with orange haha!

Thx for the tip about getting the number.. I guess I was to shy (practicing ) to ask for the number directly.
