The game by neil strauss is a good eye opener. I'd recommend that for starters. Pace yourself though. Experience/practice is always better than Theory/methods. However if you have both down... Well nuff said lol

Introducing NLP by Joseph O'Connor & John Seymour

And since I have the book near me, to summarize the content I'll just reiterate what it describes on the back for ya:

Introducing NLP includes:

-How to create rapport with others
-Influencing Skills
-Understanding and using body language
-How to think about and achieve the results you want
-Effective meetings, negotiations, and selling

These are just some general self help books which I read and have help me out massively.
'How to win friends and influence people' - Dale Carnegie
There is now a modernised version of this as it was first wrote in 1920s. Maybe not the best PU book, but it's been the most influential in my life.
'The Definitive book on body language' - Alan and Barbara Pease
Recommended to me by the one and only Neil Strauss on twitter. It will help you in all aspects of life.
Then I have read a few PU specific books but I don't know if they are the best around, I have found that reading forums and watching videos has been where I have got most of my knowledge.

The Most important thing is to practice.
Regards
-Wilso
