so my girlfriend of 4 years kicked me out of her house a month ago because i wouldn't propose (she just wasn't the one) so now i'm a 28 year old living with his parents until i save some money and find a roommate. i'm slightly heartbroken so i know i just need to get out there, especially since my ex already has a new man. being out of the game for so long i realize i have really bad approach anxiety. that led me to research aa help and i ended up here. i'm at the very bottom and need to learn the basics since i can't even get into a conversation with beautiful women. i'm a good looking guy who is very sharp and down to earth so getting over this aa hump can open up so much. anyway here i am introducing myself and desperately seeking aa help. thanks to all readers!

Just get out there and be social with everyone. "AA" doesn't actually exist. It's just the word you attach to that feeling of excitement and fear.

well whatever it is that prevents me from approaching is hindering me from meeting new people. yesterday i made a conscience effort to talk to as many people as i could and even tho i couldnt approach any of the 8s or 9s i met a few 6s at the bar. this is big progress for me and im so pumped to keep the ball rolling!

thanks for the support. it really does help since at times i still feel like this is pointless. but i want this so i'm trying to stay focused. i totally get that this stuff works it just looks like it will take forever to obtain all of this info.
