Looking for advice. Ive been in japan for about 2yrs now and since ive been here my game has been pathetic. As far as scores go the only one worth mentioning is A beautiful model who invited to a sex filled adventure in okinawa after our third date. what made this so great was i got to live out 1 of 2 karate kid fanatasies. surprisingly enough finding a pole to do a crane kick on was the hard part, sleeping with a beautiful japanese women was the easy part. unfortunately ever since ive been on a slump. My main sticking point is "the language barrier" I pick up plenty a beautiful women in japan. Unfortunately my japanese isnt that great, and finding a girl that understands enough English is hard, so closing the deal is a greater challanege for me.

So how can i get over this? im only here for another 3months and i feel like a failure at this point.

I've lived in Japan. Are you in Tokyo? Then you MUST go to the Roppongi district. The western section and the Japanese that go there, go to be around westerners. its a turkey shoot....easy pickings. Office girls, uni girls.

If you're in other parts of Japan, you need to be part of the social fabric of the community. The japanese want to learn english, some will befriend you just to practice their english. You need to learn a few words in japanese 'ikaga desu ka' (how are you) then when they respond a simple 'watahkshi wa nihon go o hanashimasu ka' (i only speak a little japanese). They will giggle, laugh and you can pantomine the rest. Every fairly large city has a baseball team. go to the games. There is some sort of community center. I used to befriend the local guys. You become friends with the guys and they'll bring girls around you so they will look good for knowing a westerner and the girls will feel more secure about dating you because the guys have 'validated' you already.

No i live outside of Osaka, Recently ive been trying to learn Kansai-ben cause if found its a great way to spark a conversation with the girls in the area. So if they ask Nihongo shaberu? i respond Bochi bochi ya na! and it gets a great giggle out of them. Also up until now ive been trying to avoid alot of the gaijin dives.

this is really interesting, cuz im gonna go to japan too for studies.
how much is the language barrier a problem? how much japanese skill is really required to sarge japanese girls? now im living in mongolia (cuz i am mongolian) and i dont know my own languge too. and i found it really hard to approach women on the street etc where you have to start with conversation etc. just pantomime doesnt sound very effective.

The women in japan are in mind everything ive ever looked for in a women. They are fashionable, beautiful, and the list goes on. Ive found qualitie in the women here that i have never seen in the US (my home ground). Mentally women here can be very loyal to a man, but at the same time the women in japan are going threw some what of a sexual revolution. So the girls them selves are quit successful PUA. Gaijin or foreigners are hot items for a girl to pick up. in many cases your more fashionable then her LV purse and her Guchi shoes. Your bragging rights for her. My problem isnt meetin women. If anything i have a a bigger ego, i have lots of girls randomly stop me on the street and ask if they can take a photo with me. My problem is this.

In english i speak a mean word game. but in japanese i get really shy and tend to muddle my words and look foolish. So i tend to shoot for girls who speak english. Or enough that i can meet her half way japanese/english wise. (those are the ones i recommend the most)

The ones that are fluent in english are the ones you watch out for. If she 8-10 and speaks fleunt watch out, cause she prob. runs a mean game and you;ll be played before she is, if she's a 7 and below then shes looking for a Husband. Ive found that in general most girls here that are fluent are because they want and english speaking BF which gives you and edge.

I have alot of respect for the japanese and i hate saying this, but the girls here are rather naive. which makes them easy targets.

in japan there are two types of gaijin, there what i call the "super gaijin" and the OIJ's (only in japan as in this is the only country this guy can get laid in) Ive seen HB10s with men the make you think WTF!

super gaijin- walk around thinking they are gods gift to japanese women and are i gues the AMOG of japan.

So great japan should be easy pic'ns right. So why am i on here complaining.

Simple Im and AFC. And for some reason i can never close the deal. But then again ive also gotten really lazy. i thought i would be in japan longer and about 2months ago i found out that i would be out of job as of april and would have to ship back to america.

Heres my advice for you and anyone that comes to Japan. As a foreigner you are walking peacock! period you'll get here and notice women taking interest in you, that in a club or bar back home would take some work first. So you have an automatic advantage.

So how can you improve your chances? Be fashionable. So leave the cheesy club shit at home IE. mesh shirts, shinny shit ect. think more GQ. most Gaijin men in japan a fashion rejects. also the last thing you want to try and do is dress like some of the japanese guys. if your white and you try this you'll look like a tool. If you Asian and you do this you'll blend in and lose you edge.

(side note: BEST FUCKING SHOPPING IN THE WORLD! FOR A LIST OF GREAT PLACES TO SHOP IN OSAKA JUST PM ME)

DLG- as for region. im strongly in favor of the KANSAI area. the people are more friendly and the japanese more relaxed. Recently ive taken the time to learn the local "ben" or dialect. with in the last month ive found that its a great way to get a girls attention if she hears you speaking Kansai japanese it draws her attention. it make you more special and interesting then the rest of the gaijin.

Oh man i came here for advice and i end up writing a report and giving it!

any how if you've read this much and have advice on beating the language barrier in general Please offer your advice.
