Hey guys,
A few days ago someone here put the question what it took to date women by messaging them on websites such as myspace.
Inspired, I started my experiment!
So far, I approached three girls by using the pm-functionality. The website I use is not myspace but a german website. Just for your information

Target 1:
Neo: Hey, I read you love music! What do you listen to?

Important facts on this opening:
- Correct language (at least in my german original)
- I did not tell her that her fotos are beautiful as all guys do
- I read her profile to get the content for my opener

Target: Yeah! I love bla bla bla. What do you listen to?
Me: I listen to bla bla bla. Do you love reading?

Important facts on this line:
- I switched the topic from music to reading as reading is rather intelectual and considers me beeing interested in her mind.

Target: Yes! I read bla bla by author. Do you know him?
Me: Yes! bla bla bla. I love his attitude towards bla bla and bla. What do you plan in your future?

Important facts on this line:
- Thanks to google, I could offer a few nice background-facts on her favourite author. Google rocks

From now, the conversation froze, having had hours of delay between my lines and her answers.

What were my mistakes?
- I kept visiting her profile to see if she was still online. She saw that and might have considered me being overinterested.
- I were not able to create some kind of interest on her side.

Conclusion

First:
Most of my conclusions are independend of that specific try. I thought about it earlier and read some articles on that. There is also a guy wo teaches onlinedating. I subscribed to his newsletter but have currently no version on my hdd, so you have to google yourself for net2bed.

Then:
- Have an interesting picture of yours as profile photo. The probably most boring picture is one passport-photo. Everything is revealed and again nothing.
You do not appear interesting, but at the same time it does not inspire anyone to guess what your deeper desires are, your dark side if your want so.
Those kind of pictures are an example of anonymity.
- Have a complete profile! Mine is empty. Your read the results
- Never ever visit her profile more than once a day!

i like internet approaching, because it gives you mmm.... time to think what to say and what your next turn will be. but it gives some bad things, the biggest one is that it is harder to approach a girl in the reality when you like to do that in "unreal world" . and one note, don't write stuff like "what music do you like" or something like that, just be funny and use Fluffytalk as i do, it works and girls often says "you're totally FUN! you made my mood become very good"
