I went to a bar with my american football team after a winning game, and there was this really hot girl looking after the area we were sat at. I couldnt help it but talk to her and see what happens.
It started off well, until my team as they do, started cockblocking and made it pretty damn obvious i was hitting on her... Few minutes later she gave me her number on a napkin, that sort of shut them up
As soon as i left the bar, i text her and we exchanged few messages, it was going well. Later on at night I returned to the bar again after getting changed as few of us were going clubbing. Tried to get her to come too, but no success this time. We texted once in the club and in the morning, but i didnt get a reply from the morning.
She told me she will come to the my games and it was a crazy banter in the bar with the team, and i just said that home games will start next season so she can come then. Fair enough, it wasnt something that must get a reply, but I dont want to seem needy by texting her more than her.
Anything I should do right now, or simply wait? Or is it a lost cause?

did you give her a nickname? i always do so i can use it when i text, i have got lazy though and only really use cheeky or trouble unless something else jumps out.

I spoke to her a few more times, but she takes time with replying.. I tried to get her out again too but 'she had things to do' oh ive heard that before.

And to be fair, yeah i sort of went along with the nickname by calling her batwoman since she stays up all nights, it seemed to have worked

I dont think there will be much out of this, but it was just another lesson. Ill still keep trying to see what magic can be done
