In this particular intance when she said first "I got bored" it sounded like ALMOST lost case.
Your advice to save that with that funny repeated line was good, it was funny and if she were at least a little interested she would have reacted in a more positive way to that. But she reacted cold and it was 99.9999999% clear that she was not interested in any communication. Later on that 99.999999% turned into whole 100% as you can see with more cold rejections.
