What is better?

Indirect opener or Direct opener?

Can you please post an example of both and when NOT to use them?

This is a subject of great debate. Some swear by one side, and other with equal conviction will swear by the other. I follow the same philosophy Bruce Lee followed in martial arts, the style of no style, the form of no form.

Sometimes you have to open direct, such as times when you or the target are in a n obvious hurry, or if she is 30 feet ahead of you, it makes no sense to rush over and ask her for an opinion, you will come off as creepy.

sometimes, it is best to go indirect. I like indirect with warm approaches, such as meeting a a friend's friend at a party, or a new co-worker. The more situational of an open I can use the more indirect I will go.

neither are better or worse, it depends on your aim, as well as the logistics

but if you are out and the only goal in mind is approaching women for sex, might as well just be direct, it will be more efficent with your time

just think of the level of investment required to hold a conversation once you open with a specific opener, that opener will set a frame for what sort of investment is being requested

under a sexual frame, you are more likely to get non-compliance from those that are not sexually interested, thus being direct screens out girls that are a waste of time

how ever if your aim is just to be social and to get into a talkative mood while making some friends and gaining social proof, an indirect opener under a social frame will be much less likely to open with non compliance as long as you are projecting a socially attractive image
