What is the best way to act/handle/respond when your girl mentions someone from a movie/TV is so hot/cute/whatever? Last night we were watching a movie and she would occasionally get all giggley and say things like "isn't he so cute?" "Oh look at his smile!" And she also was talking about american idol and said similar things. I know realistically it doesn't matter but I feel like I'm not giving the correct response to this. I just act like she never said anything but sometimes I wonder if I still come off as a chode, and I feel kind of awkward which she may be able to sense. How do you guys handle that?

You've got doubts in your mind it seems? If you watch a programme or a film together and you see an attractive lady. Come out with a comment, play it her way. 'Look at the arse on that'! etc. All in good humor. Parents are just the same with eachother. Humorous. Don't read into it :)

You gotta be relaxed about this stuff. You're attracted to lots of girls, right? (Or at least as an attractive guy, you should be.) If anything, you should be dropping who you think is hot when they come on TV or whatever. Feel at ease and pay the dude a complement. "Yeah, he's got good style." "He's a smooth dude." Game recognize game.

If she's doing it here or there with a celebrity, just have fun with it. If she's doing it constantly with some other guy at work or school, then she's actually attracted to someone else. Don't confuse the two by getting all jealous over a one off comment.

Thanks for the replies. I don't have doubts its just someone from TV but when it comes up a couple times in a short period of time (like less than an hour), it puts me on my toes. I don't say or do anything negative to make myself look low value, but I do feel a bit awkward when it happens repeatedly. I think if I make a comment like you suggested that will ease my nerves instead of sitting there in silence and feeling awkward. Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, you have doubts.

It's a lack of inner game, don't try to bullshit here. It doesn't fly and will be called out. This is one place where you can find true critisicm - real criticism.

I've had a chick talking about Ryan Reynolds from Green Lantern just recently... She commented on his body. I agreed with her. Said "Yeah, dude's built like hell. I can see why women like him." So fucking what? It doesn't mean I'm about to slob pole (not my thing, but hey, I'm not one to judge...), it means I am secure in whom I am and can compliment a man's appearance without it feeling 'creepy'.

it's a BFD moment dude. Chill and embrace it.

All girls do this.

You have a choice:
A) Ignore it.
B) Make a joke "OMG I'd totally suck his dick too!!"

You just contradicted yourself.

It's like prefacing a sentence with "I don't mean to sound like an asshole but..." lol When you preface something you're revealing that in fact the opposite is true.

It's ok to be admit being bothered about something, at least then you can choose to do something about it.

A couple of things:
1. This is the funniest thing you've ever said.
2. It opens up the topic of sex in your convo in a twisted kind of way but you can easily bring it around to you and her.
3. I can see the opportunity for some good kino here. As long as you're being C&F. I used to say shit like that to my gf all the time.

I know some guys are homophobic and could never say that shit, but I have no problems with it. I think it's funny. And if hb's see me joking and laughing about sexual topics, they can step into my frame with comfort.

Being a bit twisted is a good thing. If a girl is interested in you she'll conform to your twisted behavior. I've experienced this first hand on countless occasions, even with mild mannered seemingly innocent women. Twisted, as you had pointed out, gives fuel to the sexual frame as there's so much room for sexual innuendo and insinuation - the 2 of you develop your own sexualized language (under your direction) which can be carried discretely wherever the two of you are.

Having a twisted bent works like gangbusters (so long as its true to your style). If you can infuse a bit of female humor into it, you've got something extraordinarily potent on your hands. For example, "OMG, I'd totally suck his dick too!" lets her know that you're aware of the female language "he's cute" = "I want his dick in my mouth", which can be incredibly appealing to women (inference being you understand 'Womanese').

Sounds like a confidence issue. I freely admit to having a 'mancrush' on people girls find hot. For example the other day I was talking about the film Drive and the girls mentioned how hot Ryan Gosling was and i said 'yeah, Id go gay for Gosling. Got a huge mancrush on him.' The found it hilarious. If your not confident enough with your sexuality/looks to admit a guy is goodlooking then you need to work on it.

Agent, Damn man - good stuff. I also like "Dude's hot - I'd have his baby"

But - again, Newbs.... if your own frame of mind isn't confident/cocky, you will look like a tool. Be careful.

You'd better be damned comfortable with your sexuality and talking about it in front of a woman. They'll tell when you're bullshitting and it'll look like you're over-compensating.

It's obvious there are a handful of real mPUAs on this forum. You can see when there's a general consensus on matters most wouldn't really be comfortable doing....

All good things....

A lot of guys think that because she's ogling over a fantasy man that it somehow diminishes their own attractiveness.

If she is constantly mention some other guy in her life (example her friends boyfriend - that mean nothing sexual) - like she brag with him - what kind of signs might that be

I can't say off hand I've ever known a girl who constantly mentions another friend's boyfriend. I'd need more context to say for sure. Could be jealousy or pride for her friend. Could be secret feelings for her friend's bf. Who knows?

But in general, mentioning some guy doesn't mean she's not interested in you. Mentioning some guy is mentioning some guy. (Unless she starts asking you for advice to help her impress him.)
