I am in my early 30's and wonder how any other dudes my age operate. I live in a fairly small town (40,000 people) and the bar scene is all 21-24 year olds (bunch of frat boys with their girls, etc). There are bars attuned to older crowds, but it's usually 40+. While some of the women in those older bars can be hot cougars, I prefer the younger girls.

So, I am just wondering how you guys operate. Do you hit college bars or do you try for cougars? I guess my problem is that I notice a slight generation gap between my tastes and the college kid tastes (music, fashion, interests, etc.) And the same goes for the older crowd -- there's a slight generation gap between them and me as well (they are all divorced, have kids, etc.) I have no kids and haven't ever been married.

So, how do you 30 something dudes here operate?

If you like younger girls then go where the younger women are. Also, hit up girls during the day as well.

I am older than you, and the girls I seek ages range from 28 to 40. There are other venues than bars to pick up girls.

The girls that are your age are going out somewhere, you need to find them! Ask your friends and people you meet where some good spots are. They are not all sitting home, I promise!

Now I want to let you in on a little fact, you are in the 30-35 age range and 70-90% of the girls you meet at your age are going to have kids! You need to be cool with that because the % will only increase as you get older!!! Good luck
