iv been texting this chick for 2 months now, she usually replies to my text instantly, at first she didn't really talk much but i really got her talking the last time i texted her but i also asked her out and what her schedule was like for the week n she said she had work n couldn't go. after she said that i just said lol k and kept the convo going for a lil bit then ended it.

i don't know what i should do now

did i do the right thing by not making a big deal and continuing the convo or shud i have not responded when she said she couldnt go

i only seen her once and that was the day i got her number

Drop the texting for at least a week, call her up after that casually like nothing had happened and suggest that you guys meet up.

two months is a long time to just be texting why havent you escalated things beyond that?
everything Iv learnt says contact via text/phone calls only enough to make a meet, the old "the game is played in the field" line is applicable here, cause you cant fuck a text message.

i don't know i didn't think she was ready because she first used to say she had school and had short responses so i have just been trying to get to know her better and now she is beginning to give longer responses and ask me questions should i just keep going at her till she stops responding or comes out lol
