how do I approach guy to teach me?

I know this guy who is very well dressed and he exercises a lot and i am pretty sure he's got good game (he is the opposite of afc, dont know the right word for that)

how can i ask him to teach me? do i tell him the truth and say i am horrible with girls? wouldnt that drive him away?
or should i pretend i am good with girls and try to associate myself with him more?

I don't get where guys get off thinking that dishonesty is helpful to there personal growth or the others around them at all. With that being said, be yourself and be real about you issues. If a cool guy came up to me and said " Hey dude! I suck with girls you think you could help me? I'll buy you lunch" I wouldn't mind helping him out.

Hey mate.. one of the guys in my class asked me to help him before .. All he did was really ask and I tried to help as much as i know.. I'm not saying I'm the best pick up artist or the worst but I did what I can.. Just be honest and ask him.. If he is a cool guy he would probably help.. If not oh well you wouldn't of lost anything
