So, here's the thing, yesterday, I was drunk, and out of nowhere a girl came and slapped my face quite hard (I don't know why), so in my drunkness, I slapped her back (but lightly) because quite frankly I felt she deserved it, she was hating on me all night.

The problem is that now I feel like SHIT, since I'm sober now.

haha kiss her? she was with her boyfriend (it's a miracle I didn't end up in a fight). I think she slapped me because my friend pushed me into her group of girlfriends

Hahaha. Not good at all my friend. I've never done anything quite like that, although I did once get slightly physical whilst drunk, but that was more a case of being unaware of my own strength because of the alcohol rather than a slap. And it was with a friend, so she forgave me quite easily thankfully!

I don't know what was going on beforehand. I don't think it's ever a good thing to slap a girl, but at the same time, if it had been a man who came up to you and punched you, he'd be getting a load of shit for it, but it's ok for girls to use violence when they're frustrated?

I wouldn't worry too much - if it's a friend of yours, and you were pissing her off before hand, then apologise for pissing her off beforehand, and apologise for slapping her. Don't say "I'm sorry for slapping you, but you slapped me first..." it's an argument you're not going to win with a woman. I'd just apologise and move on.

If it's not a friend, then I'd forget about it and make sure you don't get so drunk next time!
