So a buddy of mine just gave me this smoking hot girls number. Only problem is I've never met her, and he said he wouldn't introduce me. He kind of just gave me her number as a joke to see if I could make anything out of it.

I've never been in this scenario before, cold calling/texting a girl I've never met. Any advice on how I should go about it? Or should I not even bother?

it can work. you have to be really good and to invent a new system. you already have the "no" has certain so everything more you get from there it's great.
it really depends on what you want to do. if you really want some girl just find where she live by the phone number. then go there and study your target. learn everything you can about it, then make your move.
if you can't do that you can always say that a friend gave you the number due to a common interest over X subject.
just use some random excuse or even lie to get her to meet you.
get creative and be very confident.

I wouldn't listen to this, thats fucking weird and gives this community a HORRIBLE reputation. You can find out things about her through conversation. Don't try to meet with her until you have established A LOT of comfort over the phone since she has no clue who you are.

My friend gave me this girls number once, I texted her saying blah blah gave me your number because he said you were good at chemistry, i could really use some help. Never once mentioned chemistry after that and got to know her. Unfortunately she got back with her bf shortly after i got the number so it didnt really progress anywhere. And i wasnt good enough to deal with that obstacle at the time haha

it's not like you to stalk someone. you just have to find some information. it's the same as browsing a facebook page. you can find lot's of data. More you known the better.

Consider the logic in this: If you don't know the girl, and you're are going to do a cold approach, might as well avoid the stalking, sarge elsewhere, and do the same with another girl. You're efforts will be equivalent minus the stalking. Don't take it personally but it sounds like you're getting oneitis with this girl before you've even met her because you haven considered other options. Unless she was the legendary 11, which is as rare as finding a diamond in the streets, I wouldn't put that much effort in this girl, personally personally.

Don't call, text instead.

Pretend you got a wrong number but text with DHV. Be like:


"Hey it's John, are you still down for rock climbing tonight?"

then later you can say "Oh sorry my friend must have given me a wrong number by mistake" and start talking to her "So anyway..you are welcome to come rock climbing too" blahblahblkha

This would be a challenge for even the most advanced PUA! You don't know her, and thus she does not know you, which works to your advantage a bit. I would go with something really and I mean REALLY funny! Pretend to be a radio host or something and ask her her favorite song, then get her to sing it to you and she will win concert tickets or something crazy like that. After she sings, transition to "You got Punked" role...Be like you were totally set up by Whomever! When she says I don't know them play it off and say this is "Her name" of 123 Mockingbird Lane...etc! You get the point! She will go thru several emotions during this interaction and you may just be able to transition into the consolation prize! (i.e. meeting a cool radio DJ). LOL This actually may be pretty fun!

lol, definitely don't have oneitis bro. I wasn't expecting anything to happen with this girl, it was just a little bet my buddy made me and I was seeing if anyone on here had some advice. I'm still out talking to other girls, don't worry
