So I'm on POF and I'm sending messages. Sometimes i get a response.

It's hard to guage how to be. Sometimes I'll try a straighforward conversation 'What do you do' type thing and find the conversation fizzle out. I asked one girl 'some people like to email back and forth and some like to get to the point, how do you like to play it?' and never heard back from her. Some I asked the most innocent questions and they blocked me!!!

Some I try the cocky funny and banter/tease/bust on them technique which will go quite well until it gets to a point where they don't respond.

On my favourite movie list I put Good Will HUnting. One girl said she didn't like Good Will Hunting and said it was boring. I Said 'too bad. I could never date a girl who doesn't like Good Will Hunting', she said 'i agree. its a deal breaker', i said 'I guess this is goodbye then. it was lovely meeting you albeit 2 dimensionally!' she never responded!!!

did i shoot myself in the foot with these kind of responses? she was quite a babe...

Thing to remember about POF, or online in general, is it is a numbers game - the majority of messages you send will be ignored.

Try to keep it light, fun, and punchy, not overly long. And you should aim to exchange numbers asap - a constant back and forth and you will get lost in the mire.

Pick something from their profile to play on, keep it upbeat and playful and ask an interesting question to get them to respond, ideally related to something on their profile. Make yourself seem as interesting as possible and try to get the number, that will seperate you from the herd. Then you can set up a date with a call or by text game.

But the most important thing to remember - its very fickle on there. Keep going.

How do you make yourself 'seem interesting'.

this seems to come naturally to me when i interact with friends or family but suddenly when confronted with a stranger on POF or anywhere - hot or not - it's like my natural persona goes out the window.

well the thing is, i assumed her saying it was a 'dealbreaker' was a shit test so rather than do an about turn and try to claw her back i decided to call her on it and say goodbye...lol...

Your frame sucks as i said. Your are making false assumptions like the only appropriate reaction to a shit test is to supplicate and "claw back". Guys who are very good with woman love shit tests like these at it provided them an opportunity to raise attraction.

no you dont, thats not the best plan

go read JSmooths section on this forum, look at some relevant email threads and maybe buy a program for better game on the internet. You still have to get an effective game plan and you dont need to reinvent the wheel.
