Neither go alone! I'll give you my answer on this from someone who's been at this a while, taught guys, and has seen a lot of wings. I'm sure neither of your friends are bad guys, and you'd like to hang out with them, but for pickup purposes it's better you guys do it alone and don't try to wing each other.
WHY? You are a newer PUA and I don't know you but lets say for arguement that you have 2 sticking points you are currently struggling with to get you the girl. Maybe one of them is opening, and the other is attraction. You wing let's say he has 3 sticking points: body language, attraction, and comfort.
Instead of being in a set where you have 2 sticking points preventing you from getting the girl that you might get past on your own. Now you have 5 cause of your wing. He will actually do more harm than good, to no fault of his own.
Someone really shouldn't "wing" someone tell they have started to obtain some measurable consistent results you'd see as a PUA. Let's say 3/5 approaches ends in a kiss or a number or both. When you can measure that amount of consistency for lays, kisses, numbers, etc. then you know you are getting it down. Until then, no one should really wing each other.
Trust me going out on your own I know is tough, and at first it feels a little weird. There is nothing wrong with it at all though. As a matter of fact going out alone you will learn faster, and get girls sooner.
