about two months ago i was in geelong which is a bay side city around anhour outside of my city, melbourne.

at the local bar i spotted a blonde 9 working behind the bar, i didnt hesitate in talking to her, flirting somewhat only to be cockblocked by a bouncer saying "she has bf mate"

at this point she started to serve another customer and i walked away and engaged other sets through out the night.

i got the feeling she was paying attention to my movements at the bar throughout the night.

as the lights came on and the bar came to a close, me and my brother (acting as my wing) were walking out with a two set and i felt a hand on my arm pull me around.

it was the bar tender from earlier, she asked for my phone, put in her number and full name and said "add me on FB first"

i guess she said that to avoid suspesion from her bf who knows.

i did so on the monday as i wanted her to think i have a life and i ended up back at our hotel with the two set and my brother.

surely enough once we became fb friend i saw she was in a relationship with some bloke.

i decided to text her anyway to which i got great IOI through 4 or 5 texts each. we had made plans to have lunch that sunday as she explained to was no longer working out with her current bf (i guess my timing was spot on)

that saturday i had a family emergancy and actually had to cancel the plans for sunday, which she fully understood, we exachanged about 20 texts each on the sunday night while i was at the hospital so i thought i had made up for the cancelled plans with plenty of contact time.

the following tuesday i sent a text attempting to organise plans for that weekend,
i did not get a reply and i have had nothing since, its been about 3 weeks now and i refuse to ever send a double text. i have checked FB and her bf is not on the scene anymore.

any thoughts as to were i went wrong?

is this a dead case or is there still hope, like i said she was a blonde 9, pushing 10.

about 15 texts too many, and how much interest where you showing in those 20 texts? A girl fresh out of a relationship likely wanted a low stress situation, if you are getting all personnel and/or dependably responding to her texts then she is likely to loose interest due to SPAM of status.

thats just the thing, the text where mainly about her, i was just doing the listning or "reading" as it was text messages, barely said a thing abut myself.

well if you didn't overly commit then it could just be bad logistics: Shes back with her old boyfriend, her high school love is back in town, she joined the nunnery and made a vow of celibacy etc.

who knows, end result let this one through to the keeper i think.
