Okay i have a few questions about texting.

1. Is the guy supposed to keep the conversation going? Because no matter who it is i am texting as soon as someone sends me a one word text message i get annoyed and just stop texting that person.

2. What do i do when they send me just a smiley face.

I been texting this girl she seems pretty interested, she's the one who wanted to text me, and she wants to hangout.

Do i just not reply when they only send smiley faces or should i start up a new conversation?
Or should i just wait till tomorrow to text her again?

Help would be great thanks.

The texting game can be wierd and it can be very different. You cannot convey tone or humor in a text. Thus a neg in the field is an insult in a text message. My best suggestion and my own personal philosophy for texting a girl is to keep it short, keep it concrete, and keep it sweet. Dont have a conversation with her or run a routine on that should be done in person. Use texting for need to know information and to facilitate a meeting in person. I just texted a girl an hour ago and this is what It said:

ME: Hey, how are you feeling?
Girl: Im good, Blah blah blah how are you?
Me: I feel unstoppable (or some exaggerated bullshit like that) Im going to (insert location). Swing by and have a drink with me.
Girl: Ok, what time.... blah blah blah ...

I didnt give her anything to overanalyze. I didnt work up any suspense. I told her exactly what I wanted and she had to make a basic yes or no decision. This shit is fool poof and best of all its CLEAN GAME. Its hard to mess up and its easy to do. Best of luck man and cheers.

To answer your questions...personally if a girl sends me a one text reply which cannot really be replied to without extending the conversation, then i leave it. Let her come back to you. Maybe if she doesn't get back within a week, i'd use one of the good convo starters in the link above.
