Is trial and error the right approach? I hear some people say get out there and experiment? I've heard others say just learn from someone who knows? I guess the trial and error approach can fail because you it can leave you with emotional scars and getting involved with the wrong woman can really fuck up your life. I guess the mentor approach can fail because you never learn to do things your way. what do you guys think?

Trial and error all the way. Have others who will be a sounding board - but be your own mentor.

Learn as much about EVERY aspect of PUA you can. There are some aspects to MM I think are fantastic, others I don't like and won't use. The same for Deangelo, Durden, Jeffries, Style, and so forth...

There is NO substitute for experience. Practice practice practice.

As for the emotional scarring - it's the risk we take. This is the Venusian arts - go big or go home! The only way to ensure you won't get hurt is to not give a fuck - which only makes you a shell. It's all up to you...

The more I think about Pua the more I think the community arose from their not being a father or big brother that raised you (either by their own ignorance or their absence or impotence) to attract women. I think if a model is set early on, none of this stuff really would be necessary.

I had an opinion. I wanted to see if someone would say something I hadn't thought about. I just think that people that are naturally good at game were socialized and raised that way. And I think they were raised that way because their father or their brotther learned how to game and then they learned from them. I don't think style's kid is going to grow up an AFC if he has one. Its kinda like tiger woods with golf. He learned early and so he put in more time that way he was ahead of others and he never learned bad habits...
