tips for going solo at a bar

Im going to be going on a cruise with my family in a few weeks and I intend to check out whatever clubs and/or bars that are on the boat. Ive never actually gone solo to a bar and could use some advice.

Approach. That's the only thing that matters. It's harder to make yourself approach when you're solo because you aren't showing off to any friends. There's no one there to make you do it. You'll start coming up with all kinds of excuses on why you can't or shouldn't approach that girl. Just do it. Everyone is crazy on cruise ships, if you approach consistently, something will happen, even if your game isn't that good.

For me its the exact opposite. If I am with friends I can fall in comfort zone and just hang out with them, when I am solo I HAVE to approach otherwise I would just be standing alone for a few hours :D

start with small, easy approaches such as asking where the bathroom is, what time is the bar open till etc?

i view game similar to sports. if we had a huge football game this afternoon, we would just run on the field. we would first stretch out and do a few practice plays. game should be handled in the same manner :)

have fun on your trip! :)

ps. its wayyy easier to pull on vacation hahahha
