So I recently joined this site and decided I am going to become a PUA. My first goal on the path of domination was to overcome the age old Approach Anxiety. To do this I decided to go out on my own with no friends to go back to and just see what happens. I dressed in my nicest clothes (recently bought a sports suit so I put that on), doused myself in cologne and went to work.

Location 1: So I show up at a local bar in town and the place is packed. Never really went out by myself before so I'm not really sure what to do. So I do what feels natural and go straight to the bar and order a drink. I look around and I can see a few stares in my direction. I won't lie I'm nervous as ever and just choking badly. I'm standing by the bar and two girls actually approach me. One was a brunette MB5 the other was a blonde MB6. I'm completely in my head and can't get any words out.

FUCK!

I decide I need a change of location before I brain explode and the chunks fly everywhere. I'm adamant that approach anxiety is not gonna kill me this night.

Location 2: So after crashing and burning in the first location I move on to a local club down the road. I'm ready. I walked in and the girls at the cash register compliment me on my outfit. Still nothing. I walk into the club and I realise that I arrived too early. Great! So I'm standing at the bar with a beer in my hand with like 5 other people in the club. I'm watching people file in and stuff and I am completely blank. Then out of nowhere I have a moment of clarity

Turning point of the night......things start to get interesting

So I decide to go up to the smoking area and just chat to the first group I meet up there and see what happens. I walk up to this group of guys and girls and ask for a cigarette. I then meet Jordan and his friends. I introduce myself and I immediately start to loosen up. One thing I've got going for me in England is that as someone with an American sounding accent you immediately stand out. I use this as a talking point. They ask me my name and I give a fake one lol.

Anyway enough of the dribble lets get into the sets. Once I got comfortable (and a had a couple drinks) I was able to easily approach people. A note for the next time is I want to be able to do this sober.

Ajay: So I'm walking through the club sober when I see this HB7 and her friends dancing. She's somewhat seperated herself from the group and I can tell she's the leader so I walk up to her and ask her for her name. We chit chat for a bit and then I ask her to introduce me to her friends. They all come over hug me and kiss me on the cheek.
I come back later in the night and ask her to dance with me but she didnt seem interested

Kirsty: I see this girl dancing by herself. So I approach her and ask where her friends are. She introduces me to her two friends. Theyre 2 overweight older ladies. I chit chat with her for a bit but one of her friends keep trying to get my attention. I turn my attention to her and she is asking to wear my shades. I tell her if she wants my shades she has to give me 5 pushups lol. I turn my back to her and she kisses me on the cheek. GREAT! i can attract the girl I don't want lol. Guess tonight wasn't about closing though. I turn back to kirsty and she seems a bit more interested. She's asking me for my shades and I tell her that she's not more special than her friend so she's gotta give me 5 pushups as well. Oddly enough she goes on the floor and does the 5 pushups hahaha. So I put my glasses on her and tell her she looks goofy and that I want a picture so I can laugh at it later. We take a photo with my shitty iphone camera. I left without number closing. Another day i guess >.>

Abby: So I'm hanging with Jordan and his friends and I notice this thick HB7 with a nose and lip piercing. I walk over to her and I decide to try some of the stuff I was reading about in Neil Strauss' book. I approach her and ask her if she believes in magic. She says no and I take her hands in mine and squeeze them. At this point I have no idea what I'm doing and I admit I'm not actually a magician. We laugh and I ask to draw her picture LOL. I do a stick figure with a nose ring and write semi-attractive girl from club on the top of it. She laughs. I tell her Im not much of an artist either. So after some chit chat I tell her I'm gonna teach her how to waltz. She tells me the music isnt suitable for the waltz and I tell her we can dance however we want. I take her hand and put it on my waist firmly and she gives me the most flirtatious look. I draw her in close and we start dancing....and then

BAM

her boyfriend swoops in and breaks everything up. I am so pissed but I just apologise to him and walk off. Luckily being 6 foot 4 he dares not try anything physical with me lol.

Ally: Was introduced to this girl at the start of the night. HB7. I meet again in a random part of the club and I tell her that later on we need to talk. She looks a bit confused but nods. I walk off and forget about her completely. Later on in the night I see her sitting alone so I stand in her line of vision and I point at her and motion at her to follow me. So now that Ive isolated her I start chit chatting with her. I start rambling about how I find her energy attractive. I'm not sure if she's into it or not but her friend finds her and drags her away. siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiggggggggggghhhhhh



Closing notes: I went out in order to overcome my approach anxiety, I think I definately made some progress but as I said before I want to up my confidence when I am sober and not have to rely on alcohol to loosen me up. My next few excursions will focus on getting better at this. All in all I have to give this night:

Score doesnt begin to relay how much fun I had though, was a great time and I hope to be able to get more closes in the future.....
