I'm Swirve and I've just recently discovered the world of PUA. I've just finished reading The Game and am now reading Rules of the Game in order to improve my game. I'm pretty young still, 20 years old, and have had some success with females in the past, but I'm looking to really take my game to a new level so that no matter where I go I can have my choice with women. I'm a decent looking guy, but really need to improve my style and my approach techniques. I've never had a same day or even second day f-close, as the only women I have been with, I have been romantically involved with. I just recently came off a rough break-up and figure now is the time to step up.
Since reading The Game, I have noticed myself a lot less intimidated in talking to HB as well as just people in general. They seem a lot less intimidating now. Nice to meet you guys and I'm sure I'll see some of you around the forums!

My issue is that I never figure out anything interesting to say until its too late. Opening is generally my problem, and I never know what kind of approach to take, indirect or direct. I think I need to get some canned material to use until I'm comfortable with a more natural approach.

If you wanna work on situational routines I'd say just start practicing your situational conversation. Stike up conversations about some item in the environment with guys (or ugly chicks) in line at the grocerie store, on the subway, at the bar, wherever.
Get good at situational conversation, then incorporate DHV's, disqualifiers, negs, and approach targets.
