Last night --> nightgame

For a change I opened direct and I had a different mindset than I ussually do when I'm direct

(Ussualy I... really don't know WTF I'm thinking about, but yesterday I read something between the lines of... Let your ego at the door... on SimplePickup forum and it felt really liberating to me), so maybe that's why I no girl responded negativly to my approaches or I just didn't saw it.

Anyway... here's my problem, right off the opener I like say I lot of shit, but it was all like interview mode, I asked a question, she responed, than I waited for 2 minutes (sometimes because I didn't knew what to ask, sometimes just for fun), but yeah my like whole 10 minute conversation, looked like that.
And although I was having fun watching this and I did got bored eventually, it didn't got me far.

So does anyone have any suggestions on how can I make conversation more fun, if possibly without canned material, cause I can memorize it, but I'll forget it, when I'm in a set

90-10 rule, for a few minutes of opening you're gunna be doing 90% of the talking; just so this doesn't surprise you anymore

Secondly, don't ask questions, ask statements (cuz that makes sense ) -
ME:"hi there you look like you're having fun tonight"
HER:"yea i guess I am"
ME:"you gotta be what, at least 20 yrs old"
HER:"nope actually 23"
ME:"wow, well my name is charblad the magnificent" *pause* "but I'm just kidding about the charblad part"
HER:"haha really, why are you so "magnificent"?"
