If you arnt that experienced with girls error on the side of being "abusive" and "bold" perhaps even "creepy". Being timid and overly polite wont get you far to start.

aero your point has academic and logical merit, however in practice I would urge you not to ever use DLV or self depreciating humor with a new girl.

Her logical brain may read it as a joke, but her subconscious brain wont necessarily register it as a joke. This is a mistake smart and humble people make all the time.

Also there is a good chance she wont even read this as a joke.

dont over think it, in most cases the chick likes you or not and the actual text is going to make very little difference one way or another. Like I said its clever, you might as well use it, it isnt inherently bad with the one revision we discussed.

The point I made is just for use going forward the next 20 years, each individual pick up is largely determined the first 30 seconds and then incrementally after that.

Usually virgins are very self-conscious about the fact that they are still virgins, especially being in college. Does she know you know, and if so, was she the one that told you?

Yep, she was the one that told me (she wasn't exactly sober, and there was another guy in the car), but she was the one that told me.

whatever text you decide to send I would wait 1-2 hours between texts, make her anticipate and keep the dominant/selector frame, and if she does agree to a date curtail your texting even more, over texting is more likely to fuck things up then generate attraction.

Sounds like she wanted you to know, but I still wouldn't bring it up. I'm sure you can come up with a better way to invite her along.
