We went out sarging, he opened a crowd that had some hot women in it, and two really big guys werent having any part of it. They were laughing and making fun of him, cause they knew he was trying to get "in" and I guess he wasnt "cool" enough to be hanging.

I sat and watched his technique, he was doing ok until the guys stepped in.

They started playing with his clothes and straightening out his collar all to make fun. And he finally got pissed and pushed one of them, he turned around and belted him right in the eye, and technically, he started the fight.

Sometimes, people wont let you in their inner circle, so what do you do?

if you cant defuse or ameliorate the situation leave before you get punched in the eye. Get better game or get better at social cue's, hopefully both.

^^^ what he said.

avoid trouble and walk away, there's plenty of other opportunities.
Why try to make things complicated and potentially dangerous for yourself?

Well, it wasnt me, but I assume he wasnt anticipating the punch in the eye.

Knee jerk reaction to push off on someone getting in your face. I dont blame him really.

But if you walk away, much like bullies, your going to have to face them again and again. So is walking away always the best option?

Never start a physical fight... if they make fun of you do the same. if you insult them really bad u can anticipate someone trying to hit you and you will be better prepared to defend yourself

being targeted and bullied is one thing but your friend is approaching a group of people. If he walks away these "bullies" aren't going to go looking for him to harass him.

No but the principle is the same, you avoid bullies for fear of getting your ass kicked, but if you avoid opening a set because the guys look intimidating, you will always have that problem, and not get anywhere.

You have a right to talk to whoever you want. You a right to not be touched and to stop it. I would have filed a police report.

Nobody here said don't open the set, everyone said walk away if it looks like that's where things are heading.

I don't think I would even walk away, no matter what you say or do you don't deserve to get hit.

However, from the other perspective what would you do if you had some obnoxious guys talking to your girl?

You lose and walk away.

Your friend was outmatched in every way.

I reject your premise, they you are drawing a failed comparison.

Whilst I completely object to starting fights, some guys really just do deserve it.

Frame control is important, but you do have to stand up for yourself rather than laugh it off or go along with it. I was the guy who always went along with people who were like that. "Oh save it for the bedroom" in a gay voice stops some guys doing it.

But seriously you do just have to give someone a fucking right hander sometimes. How else do you stop them? Some AMOGs are fucking persistant. If you can deter them with teasing them or making them look silly, and if they are being a bully fucking knock them out. They deserve it. You're still alpha if you remain calm and keep your happy frame. Being alpha is also standing up for yourself. The alpha male lion wouldn't take shit from the AMOG lion, they would fight to the death. He is still alpha.

Punch as a last resort and only if they actually deserve it. Don't punch them when they get the girl you wanted. That's not cool.

You could walk away but if they are regulars to the bar you visit then you could have a problem. So settle it once and for all and knock them sparko. If you won't see them again and the set wasn't going that well make a joke and leave.
