Here is my life story, at least from when i find it starts to get interesting. I would like to know from you guys if the storie in fact is a DHV story or does it need some changes?

As in the comprehensive guide to create a DHV story i'm trying to answer a question about my work/study/life


I've been struggling to find the right education for myself, i've dropped out a view because i found them not creative enough or to easy. A couple years ago I started to study industrial product design, a education where I could be as creative as i want by making concepts and new product ideas. Also there where a lot of challengeing parts like physics and a business part
This last part, having your own business grapped me. I always had problems with authority, so being my own boss sounded great to me. It also is not easy and you can be as creative as you want:)
So I initiated a view great business opportunities with a graduated friend but it never came to a actual business because he started his master in a town hundred kilometer away.
So there I was 6 months ago, finally knowing what I wanted to do with my life and in the middle of the 2nd year of my 4 year education. The thought of finishing my education and learning pointless stuff i was never going to use again depressed me.

Going into the third year of college I had to do an intership. I did a few intakes with company's in the line of my education but got turned down because obviously I wasn't interested enough.
By pure coincedence i started talking with a guy i knew for a couple of years who I knew did some interesting stuff with his life. It turned out he moved to Barcelona to franchise a great business model to Spain. We started talking about our ideas of life and doing business and we connected. The idea was created of me taking a internship at his company in Spain. So here I am now, after chatting up and lying to my intern-supervisor the plan got it approved:)
So here I am now, trying out my dream with nothing to loose and I like it!

After this I talk a bit about barcelona and how it also gives me the opportunity to practice my sport at a very high level (jiu jitsu, muay thai and fitness combined) in order to do my first MMA fight when/if i come back.

So what do you guys think? do i need to change something? Do i need to add spikes? Do I have to make it shorter? Is it a DHV story?

ill be honest mate i really cant be bothered to read the whole of it. just make sure they only last a couple of minutes. i have seen a video on youtube which does help with dhv stories. It is below. the best thing to do is think of 8 of your best qualities that you think are attractive and then fit them into a story.

wow.. not only did you explain all this crap to a girl about your job/your education etc.. but you talk to her about how you failed at a bunch of it and you spent a good TEN minutes doing it!!

She is going to seriously want to walk out of there, you are not building value at all, you are just breaking some of the cardinal rules of PU.

Remember, she wants to be entertained! Listening to some stranger blather on about his whole life story isn't going to do it, especially when that life story is pretty much solid "interview questions" which every single person who doesn't know her wants to bring up. Job. School. Daily Routine. BORING. Only to be talked about when they are already attracted to you and are actually interested in finding out who you are.
