I work as a waiter for a catering company and I see countless beautiful women at the parties that I work (weddings, bat mitzvahs, communions. etc). I've passed up on way too many that were staring at me for the pathetic excuse that I simply didn't know how to open.

What kind of openers would you guys suggest I use on females at these functions that I work?

Anyone?

I just started the same job so it would be really helpful if anyone with experience can share some inside info

If your at work and you dont want to risk your job, you pretty much need to go indirect, probably with something work related at first. Something like "can i get you something / do you need a refill on your drink / can i take your plate" is good just to get you in and talking to her. The trick is to not leave right away, but rather stay for like 30 seconds the first time, most events are probably like 5 hours right? Then you have plenty of time to go and re open her multiple times each time staying in longer and longer. Look for IOI's if there arent any, then just leave it, dont risk your job, but if she seems really into you, then start with some low pressure jokes and playful teasing.

You'll be treading a fine line, as I'm guessing your boss has seen plenty of guys hitting on the client's women and there are probably rules against that sort of thing.

I'd go for a super-quick approach & number close, and leave the gaming to off-hours.

then text her later with "mwahaha got your number " or some shit

I'd say just paying the extra attention and as someone has already said, stick around for a little while longer. A nice big smile and always topping her drink up, professional lines like "Are you having a good night?", "Is there anything else I can get you". I don't really think you can approach/game her. But always being around, being super friendly, massive smiles etc. should put you in her line of sight if she is interested.

You could probably even use the job thing to your advantage, making yourself the man she can't have, if she offers to take you out etc. say i'd love to but I don't think my boss would approve. Maybe even get her to slip her number in your pocket.

If she does this make sure you send a her a re-assuring style text before she is likely to be asleep as if you don't she'll wake up the next day thinking 'oh no, I gave that guy my number yesterday, i must have looked bad!'
