so i'm a girl and i've been reading this pick up artist book for funskies and that stuff really does work on women! but from a women's point of view...how do you get one of these guys into a committed relationship? most guys play some level of this game and i'm wondering how we as women can get a a guy to want to be in a relationship and make that committment

Depends on the guy...I don't usually commit with a girl unless I'm sure I'm really into her overall...I think that's the whole point for a guy on this, the freedom of choice. Commitment kind of comes if you start giving him shit tests or stuff. But you really also have to be worth the trouble...lol

girl game is essentially counter-productive because if you're with a guy who's a "high value male," and you get him to commit to you and what not through a manipulation of social dynamics, you will no longer find him attractive. This applies to men too (everyone here can contend that having someone too clingy isn't a good experience), but more so to women because of their hypergamous natures. Think about it this way: if you find out that playing hot/cold and adding jealousy will make a guy crazy; would you find a guy attractive if it really did work on him and drove him crazy over you? It's more likely that the more he was immune to it, the more he remained unaffected and grounded in his own reality, the more confident he was in his own ability; the more attractive you'd find him.

Which means, "gaming" guys for a girl comes down to:

Getting beta males as orbiters. You'll find it's easy to leash guys into doing whatever you want for them.

Screening for Alpha males

But women are naturally adept at doing both of these things anyways, so why need girl-game? It's more likely to backfire because if you're with a guy you find VERY attractive, chances are other girls also find him attractive. Which means if he thinks you're playing the jealousy card TOO hard or anything like that, he's gone.

Girl game just comes down to this: Be sweet, be pretty, be coy. And once you get into a relationship, DON'T be clingy. Balance is crucial. A guy worth his words won't bother with a girl TOO detached, but nor will he appreciate the affection of a woman too dependent. Besides this, you don't need a whole lot more. The same way 90% of the male population is full of AFCs and herbs, 90% of the female population isn't girlfriend material. Your competition isn't exactly threatening.
