This is not how it works. Neg, as its definition is a negative compliment. It means that you point out something nice about the girl, but also demonstrate that it does not particularly impress you.
But this isn't really that hard to calibrate. If there's something you find really interesting about a girl, like her humour or whatever, you should tell her straight away. Negs are more of a push-pull tool. It can have several uses, from flirting, through frame control, to demonstrating a higher value. So you should consider using a neg if you feel the need to but if she reciprocates positively, you should stay away from negs and focus on escalating things.
I hope I was clear enough, I tried my best but it was quite some time ago I used neg theory in pick-up.
Oh one last note...

i think i understand. Yesterday a HB6 kept talking about hows shes beautiful and what not while she was petting the dog, so i covered the dogs eyes nd sed it didnt like ugly people nd she kept laughing. So is it somthing like that?
And u said you havent used neg theory in pick up. Does that mean u dont use negs or you use a different method?
