This girl is my lab partner in class. I have been working on her for the past 6 weeks. recently she has been showing ioi's. whenever I joke with her, she pushes me or hits me on the arm.
she is this chinese girl and she is very skinny. yesterday she was wearing these cute pants and I sincerely thought she looked very cute in them, i told her multiple times and I told her "promise you will keep wearing these to every class" she said "i am glad you like them"
I am wondering if i should text her and say "you are so cute, remind me to give you a hug in the next class" or something like that?

Are you just going to compliment the crap out of her, or do you want to date/lay her?
I see how many posts you have and am still astounded that you think this is the way to a woman's heart; you are doing a perfect job if you're trying to be friends or best friends with her (if that's the goal you're doing perfect, don't change anything) But if you want this to turn into anything more you're walking backwards

Bad way to ask a girl to do something, and VERY desperate sounding; the girl will hear "please wear those i really really like them i just can't get enough of you i need you in my life" - that's the WORST message you can send to a girl

text her saying "you are so cute, remind me to give you a hug.."*
same thing as the last one, VERY desperate, even direct game isn't that direct...

I'd be careful to make sure she doesn't think you're gay, not meaning i think you're gay, i'm saying because of you're actions she might be so flirty and open to Just you because she might think you're gay; other than that I can't really help you further
