Your online method sounds interesting because the way you describe it actually seems creepy.
lol, it's interesting because it's creepy? Well cool, let me explain.

Can you give an example of what makes them feel sexy that you post in their walls?
What I mean by this is that women will sometimes post videos, articles, or photos they find sexy on their wall and more frequently, things they find funny. I post on their walls sparingly, and usually it's a funny video. Posting that funny video gets them noticing you and if they visit your profile afterward, you will start showing up in their feeds.
When I post 'sexy' stuff, it's usually a video or link on my wall and it's 9/10 a song. But more in general, any Facebook interaction of the type I speak of is just to get noticed, and to get noticed as a real cool guy who doesn't afraid of anything. It's a dual purposed tool to show that I'm interesting and interested in what they like.
I don't go posting things like "hey wanna go derp at my place?" on their walls or anything (because, that would in fact, qualify as creepy), I leave it to the guys who've never kicked their frat boy mindset to be creepy.
I suppose what I do is a bit like a peacock showing his feathers or a baboon waving his bright-orange ass around. It's showing your attractiveness as a mate off, but just adapted to the complexities of human attraction and modern technology.
It's also genuine, because if I go on a date, I am actually interested in their life and interests. Also looking on Facebook allows me to determine if she's an idiot or crazy bitch (I want a baby!/I'm an obsessive nutjob!/I think Egypt is located next to India! Durrrr!)

I'd definitely say it's the attitude of not caring how any particular interaction turns out.
It sure the fuck is.
