Well, i have a pretty strange problem.

First of all I am 32 (so pretty old, yeah!) and i am fairly new to the whole pua thing. I am not especially good looking, but not completely ugly either. (Well i had more hairs back in the days ).

Well, my thing is, i have nearly no AA, i can easily open a set. I even don't need that 3 second rule, i have absolutely no problem standing beside a set and open after 30 seconds. So far that sounds really great because lot of people have AA.

But the very strange problem I have is this: I usually open using the mystery method and after I opened i usually close the after 2 Minutes and leave.... for good. And i can't really change it, it feels like i don't want to be too long at a set, because i don't want to disturb anyone.

I read that you should build some time pressure like "I have to go soon, got a meeting tomorrow", but i really go through with it and leave then, even i don't really want to.

Its really so rediculous, last night i opened a set with the question "Are you from italy?". The girls where surely not from italy but i love that opener, because they instantly respond "No, why do you think that? Do we look like italiens?". Well, after 2 Minutes another girl appeared, aparently a friend of the others and wanted to know my name and stuff.

I then said, that i had business to attend to in the next morning so i got to go. And then i was gone. And thats it.... The girls sent me all kinds of IOI, but after 5 Minutes i backed out.

What can i do against that? Sounds stupid, but it happens to me everytime. One time i backing out of a set after 3 Minutes and the girl asks me: "Hey, don't you even want to know my number?" and i felt so stupid, that i just said: "Na, next time, bye bye and have fun."

Thing is, i am really afraid of going any further or leave a set open. So how do you find that balance in giving the impression that you want to go, but don't actually go. I always think its kind of stupid, to say i have to get going, and then just stay ^^

next time you'er offered a number take out your phone, give it to her to enter her info and just shut the fuck up

But how do you do that, tell the set that you have to go without actually going ^^

if you don't want to actually go why would you tell them you have to?

It's a PUA tactic called "time bridging", it gives you a way out if the set isn't working, and it also DHV's you for being "popular" and "in demand"

Although I do agree, if you don't want to go, don't tell them you need to; bringing up the need to leave during a conversation is a lot harder than before the convo Lol, true though..

Just wanted to let you know, that i did try it again, and it worked way better that time. I got a girl to kiss with me in about 20 minutes..... wow. (Yeah, well, that was more luck than skill, i know, but i am working on it ).
