I have a few friends in the military, and some of them, especially the older ones are awesome guys and really level-headed when dealing with stress.
The younger ones, the ones who usually go out trying to pick up ladies at bars, are usually the AMOGs. I see of them use their service as a tool to pick up ladies, and try to make themselves appear to be better than every other guy.
I want to ask for advice on dealing with these guys who go overboard and try to inflate their own egos by mentioning their service (Some haven't seen combat, but I understand the training and lifestyle is tough). I also need advise on the response to these two things which I always hear them say.
Example 1: "I serve, and I am proud to serve! What do you know of courage? You don't reveal courage until you serve!"
Example 2: "I served this country, so what the hell have you done?"
Thanks.
