I agree with my friend here ^ You need to work on your inner-game. To be asking "how can I do it without being humiliated" is approach anxiety. This in my mind, never goes away, but there is a way to make it very extremely tiny.

In any case....considering I'm usually good at just making up things on the spot it depends...a lot of naturals use situational openers.

I would go up to her if she's looking and say Hey ...you need to help me out here. I cant get my locker open! (This is indirect). Or if you get eye contact, you can be semi-indirect: "I think you're looking for me?" *Smirk* And if she says "no" then you go...well aren't you sociable? (Lowering her value)
