Hi to you all,

I am 26 and now in Exeter, although often in Newquay as well (enjoying the surfing!). I suppose I got into the game accidentaly by coming across a post by Gambler when in China. I was getting a bit vexed with working through the culture and language barrier (even though my Chinese is pretty good) and was looking for inspiration on expanding the way I thought about it all.

It's hard to say how long I've been playing the game, but consciously only a few days (last night was my first attempt in a night-life setting armed with some material).

As for pick-up methods, I wish to progress to the natural style, but should like to learn set-piece to help me get off the ground. I have a bit of the gift-of-the-gab once I get going, but certainly need to work on the phases and keeping things on track, moving forwards. To tie in with that, I'm usually very comfortable once I get talking to new people, but certainly have a good deal of approach anxiety.

My hobbies and passions are diverse, but are mainly languages, culture and travel; I like to immerse myself in a new way of life and mindset, and love the way a new language can allow you, sometimes force you, to think in a new way. I suppose that is one of the things which intrigues me most about the game.

It would be fair to say that my goals are mixed. I enjoy being in a relationship, but wish to be there because she is who I want, not because I'm afraid of having to go looking again. I ought to be relativley static, geographically speaking, for a good few months, so feel would like the opportunity to have something more than just one night, but later in the year I start my travels again.

I am a proffesional traveler, which I just love, but it does mean that I am rarely in one place for more than two nights, often just one, occasionally three. I found during the last few years of this, often being in some very remote places, that it can be a bit lonesome. Thus, I want to be able to make the most of my time in any place and especially on those occasions when I hit civilisation. I may only have a dozen hourse, so need to use them to their full.
