I'm not being sexist or *****y here, its just a theory I've come up with and would like your opinions.

I don't think guys are genetically funnier than girls ie. Instantly born with a better sense of humour by luck. I think both genders are born with the exact same level sense of humour wise.

For the next bit, I'm not being *****y its just my theory.

When it comes to dating, girls have it easy, they don't have to do anything they get hit on by guys every day and can turn down whoever they want, they can choose whatever guy they want and have sex/a relationship with him.

If they want their ego's boosted even without any intention of making some guys night they can go to some club and have guys flattering them and buying their drinks for them all night long.

Guys on the other hand can not have whoever they want, guys have to play a numbers game and go through rejection after rejection time and time again before they find 1 girl even willing to give him her number, then loads more rejections before they get another number. Of those few numbers, some will be fake, some won't reply, some will brush the guy off, and fee will turn up for a date. Now some of those select few girls will stand the guy up and of those who turn up, not all will agree to a 2nd date.

Their is an extremely small percentage of guys who actually get hit on by girls, very small indeed. Guys generally can't count on looks to do the job for them.


Now humour is one of the biggest weapons a guy has for the art of seducing girls, therefore they are constantly using it, and the constant using of it = constant practicing it and as the saying goes practice makes perfect.


Girls can tell a joke and not get many laughs and the few laughs will be guys who are laughing for her looks, a guy can tell the exact same joke but can nail the delivery and get genuine laughter.



So girls have never needed to practise humour so they don't develop it much.

Guys do need to have humour so they are constantly using and developing it.


And as both get older the funnier the guy becomes than the girl.



Ok that is my theory, please try and remain objective as it was not born from sexism or bitterness.

Wrong. Girls have to "dress up" to get guys by that I mean they have to do something to draw attention to themselves so that the guy will notice them. Remember girls are competing with other girls and girls can be quite competitive socially speaking. Girls can only pick from guys that approach them, yes they can approach guys but that is uncommon.
Guys get hit on by girls all the time, just not approached by girls that much.

Girls do practice humor but its more a different type of humor, the sort to entertain us not necessary make us laugh like we more have to do. Remember girls with no personality that is at least bit entertaining won't keep a guy around or interested.

Come of it girls don't have to dress up, thats just something they say they think they have to do. Sue they get a little more attention when they do so, and so they do to boost their egos but they don't need to.

Dressing up doesn't make their approaches go from zero to a number, it makes it go from a number to a higher number.

And girls humour generally isn't funny

You are aware of peakcocking right? Guess what girls have to do this in bars/cliubs to get notice/attention from guys. So yes they have to if they want to get guys to notice them.
For you maybe.But humor in general will differ from person to person. I mean not everyone finds Jon Steward funny.

Girls do dress up for a reason. This girl I was dating used to go out into the clubs with a shirt short enough to flash her abs enough(they were pretty good). She always returned to me with a drink in her hand. I laughed every time. Girls are competitive. End of story. If one girl is out dressed and racking up attention from the guys, then the other girls would think twice before stepping out of their house not looking 100%.

Remember: "Most" girls don't just wanna fuck any guy, they want to fuck the guy that gets to fuck the girls that are hotter than them.

Now sure can go to the bar in sweats and a t shirt that says "approach me and I'll take you home" but that would completely go against the above theory.. Hence the reason " Girls have to dress up"
