Day 1

The challenge: Make Small Talk With 5 Strangers

I am not extremly bad at Pick up.. I do have a lot of things I can work on.. So I thought this challenge would be easy.... I was wrong...
My AA was amplified.. Probably because it was day game.. But I did it..

Stranger 1
(Walking up stairs)
ME: Ugh.. Stairs suck..
Stranger: Your telling me.. I have spanish 3 times a week.
ME: I feel your pain.
Stranger: I also have math up here.. All I do is walk up stairs.
ME: haha Have a nice day...

Stranger 2
Stranger: Vote for xxxx in our school elections today
ME: Well What are they for??
Stranger: President and vice president.
ME: I meant what do they stand for.. What will they do if elected.
Stranger: Well.. ummm... ramble ramble ramble..
(I could tell this guy had no clue what he was talking about.. I will deff. NOT vote for these people)
ME: Ok thank you

Stranger 3
ME: Where do you vote?
Stranger: Right here.
ME: How long will you be open?
Stranger: until 6.
ME: Can I just vote online?
Stranger: Yes, but in 20 minutes we will have candy here.
ME: Hmmm I think Candy Is the way to go.. I would be easy to kidnap if I was a kid.. Just say candy and i would get into the van.
Stranger: hahahaha
ME: Ill see you later

Stranger 4
ME: Excuse me is there anywhere else to eat other than this building?
Stranger: Well.. There is........ (long long long list of places)
ME: They serve food at that building??
Stranger: Yes.
ME: Ill have to check it out! Thank you.
Stranger: No problem. Bye.

Stranger 5
(at a cafe to a worker)
ME: So i have never ate here before.. What should i get?
Stranger: Well there is..... blah blah blah blah
ME: Hmmmm.. That sounds good..
Stranger: You will lOVE IT.. everyone else here does..
ME: Ok ill take that.. And if i don't like it i will go into a rage.. and blame you.
Stranger: Hahaha ok you will love it.

Day 2

The Challenge: Make small talk with 5 strangers, but look them in the eye and write down there eye color.

This challenge was a lot easier than yesterdays challenge.. I can already tell my AA is slowly getting better.


Stranger 1
Eye Color: Blue
(walking by her table)
ME: I like your laptop. Is that a Dell?
Her: haha yes. Its an old one but i like it.
ME: Thats an Insibiron I bet.
Her: I think so
ME: haha Sorry I'm a computer science major so when i see a nice computer I like to talk computers
Her: Haha Well i used to have another one, but it got stolen from my car.
ME: No way! that sucks.. By the way Im XXXX
Her: Hi im XXXXXX
ME: Ill remember that. I used to date a XXX
HER: ahhaha I guess that would help...
ME: Well it was nice meeting you.. Im sure i will see you around.
HER: Yea... By XXXX

Stranger 2
Eye Color: Brown
(Walking by her table I look her in the eye)
ME: Hey
Her: Hello
ME: How are you?
Her: Im good.

Stranger 3
Eye Color Blue
ME: So whats this preacher guy doing here?
HER: He is complaining about how we all will go to hell.
ME: Is he the same guy that always comes here?
Her: No that guy is skinnier.
ME: Ohhh.. haha. Well ill see ya later
Her: Bye

Stranger 4
Eye Color Brown
(in a elevator)
ME: What floor
Everyone: 3
ME: Wow.. Usually there is at least 1 person that picks the second floor.
Stranger 4: Haha Thats usually me
ME: haha You are that guy..
Stranger 4: haha Yes.. But not today.

Stranger 5

ME: Excuse me
Stranger: Yes?
ME: Where is the math center?
Stranger: Ohh XXXX on the 3rd floor.
ME: Room number?
Stranger: Ummm.. Not sure
ME: haha I think i can find it if its on the 3rd floor. Thank you

Day 3

The Challenge: Don't shower. Just worry about learning the imperfections in your speech. Record yourself talking and critique it.

The challenge had me read a story into a recorder, and then analyze how I sounded..
I had no clue how horrible my speech was!!

Im monotone, I speak to fast, and I have to many brain farts.. (uhhs, and umms, ect.)


I have to practice telling stories and emulating powerful speakers into what i say.. I'm defiantly going to watch for this when I go out from now on!!!


The bonus mission was called MOVIE PHONE.. You had to call a random number and see if they would suggest a movie to watch..

I tried it once.. I didn't get a movie.. but I decided it was too much for me to do right now.. maybe another day..

Day 4

The Challenge: Approach 3 girls and get a suggestion for a good place to buy clothing.

I noticed from yesterdays challenge that the way I talk is HORRIBLE!!! I use to many filler words, I talk to fast and I'm monotone.. So I made it a point to work on that today..

Stranger 1
(I start to sit in a general study area.. Hb 7 looks at me)
ME: Can I sit here? (as I sat myself 2 seats away from here)
HER: Yea (smiles)
ME: (start to read a book... then decided to go for it..)
ME: Maybe you can help me out with something. Are you from around here?
HER: Well no, but i have gone to school here long enough. haha I'm from XXXXX
ME: Perfect.. Im looking for a place to buy some nice clothing. Something formal.
HER: Ohhh you can go to XXXXX thats right by here.. all you have to do is (gives directions)
ME: Awesome! Thank you very much! What was your name by the way?
HER: Im xxxx
ME: Im XXXXX its nice to meet you!
HER: NIce to meet you.

Stranger 2:
(I see a 3 set walking up to me)
ME: Excuse me, sorry for interrupting but I need some help.
HB #1: Whats up?
ME: I need to find a good clothing store other than walmart! You know any place?
HB #1: XXX
HB #2: XXXXX
HB #3: xxxxx
ME: Wow a lot of places here ahaha
HB 1: I think xxx Will be the best..
ME: WHere is it at?
HB 1: gives me directions..
ME: Thank you all..

Stranger 3:
(I actually recorded audio from this. Post it later)
ME: Excuse me,
HER: ya.
ME: Im sorry i know this sounds weird but i need a place to buy some clothing. do you know a good place other than walmart?
HER: Kohls?
ME: Everyone tells me kohl's where is that at?
HER: Gives me directions
ME: alright awesome thank you so much
HER: No problem bye!

Ok.. I have realized something on this challenge.. I need to sound more dominant.. there is no reason why i have to apologize. Im just asking a question. Im not insulting anyone..
I also need to be more sure of myself, and work on my diologe. I sound horrible!!!

Finally I need to start approaching hb8's and up....

Hey I am thinking of doing more recording for my street game as I think I need to work on projection. If I got your last post correctly you seem to have started to record your interactions right?

What do you use? Presumably its something non intrusive but of decent quality so you can listen to yourself later? Am considering buying a spy pen or something but cannot make up my mind.
