Hey all,

I used to go sarging when I lived in San Francisco and had a few friends I'd go with. I usually had a pretty good time but never really took it too seriously. Since then I finished my Master's degree and joined the Army. I got really lucky and got stationed in Hawaii after Airborne school. Unfortunately within 2 months of being in awesome Hawaii, I got deployed to Iraq.

Recently I returned from a year deployed in Iraq and kinda feel like I've lost all that I learned before. I can't seem to open a chick anymore. I don't really have anyone to sarge with so I've tried going out on my own but I just end up coming home with no numbers. I'm not even really sure if i'm looking in the right places. I tried going to Barnes and Noble the other day but when I saw an attractive girl I couldn't figure out what to say to open her. I have a lot to offer and keep her interested if I can just get the conversation going and get to an attempted close. I play guitar, I have a Master's and i'm in the military. I keep hearing women love a man in uniform but haven't been able to see any results.

What advice can you offer for me getting over my shyness and nerves. And does anyone live on Oahu that wants to go sarging?
