I was watching a local tv quiz last night and a girl appeared which i found really really hot.

Moreover: she looked like a copy of my ex-girlfriend.

I know her name and i know her profile on Facebook. I would like to write her an original message and hope for a response. I really want to go for her and even persist, cause i had an immediate attraction to her.

Good to know: i'm actually a really good looking guy and have some good social proof in my pics on facebook as well. I'm also quite confident if i can get the girl so far to show some kind of interest in me.

What could i write in order not to be completely creepy? Should i mention the fact she looks like my ex-girlfriend?

Here's one I use, stole it from the online sagging section.

Me: I know I don't know you but you should really change your profile pic

HB: "What?" "Why?" "OMG why??"

Me: haha hope you can take a joke. Thought you were cute and wanted to say hi, I'm *Consequences_

Usual response to that is "haha omg I thought something was wrong with my picture! Hi!"

Just take it from there. You can chat for a little then when the conversation is going good I say

Me: hey Facebook is all fine and dandy but it's a pain in the ass using my phone. Is there a another way we can contact eachother?

BOOM number.

After you get her number wait an hour or so. Best bet is to do something with real life friends and invite her to tag along. You only have 2-3 days to setup the hookup or she'll flake.

When I first moved to Denver I used this line after an HB would add me.

"Hey I just moved here from *insert location*(Don't judge lol). What kinda stuff do you like to do for fun around here?"

Out if 10 I would get 6-7 responses and 2-3 numbers and meetups. Keep in mind though that the quality of women you meet online will typically be lower.

Nevertheless, seems like Facebook messaging became a pain in the ass since messages from "strangers" with no connection at all to the receiver end up in the folder "other messages" for which you don't get a notification...

TBH I think it's creepy. I've had randomers message me on FB for various things and it freaks me out.
