The thing i've noticed is when i came back is that everyone quits pick up, like everyone gives up or gets a girlfriend and settles down, the only people would have remained fully in game i know personally are jackal and volcano, it isn't a bad thing really, many people have different goals but at this point in my mind the aim is to say in pick up a number of years, this may change with experience but it's my state of thinking now.
I've gotten a bit lazy in Sheffield, i need to push myself harder, open more, always escalate and ask for the number/ try for kiss etc, and follow up on all numbers not just some.
On friday me and volcano did some day game, quite a few blows outs from singles but as the day rode on i starting getting into the rhythm a bit more and we did some two sets together. One such set, volcano ran up to them outside the bullring stopped them and i wandered over whilst eating a banana, he ran his opener 'women....................................why?', they laughed and i threw a few words out and we mostly remained silent, heavy pause game, they did seem into it, however all we really did was some fluff with lots of pauses, very fun.
Jackal joined us later for the night session, he was pushing himself in very,lets say , crazy ways haha. From this session though i did not get much success, i learned a few things, relax and be calmer in the day, and you can actually just have a normal conversation sprinkled with some game.
On saturday i felt very tired and a bit low, no reason in particular. I came out for a bit. We did some mixed sets in the dragon inn, i opened a 3 set in the corner, two hot brunettes and a bigger girl. I ran the the bread man opener lol 'if i work in a bread shop, does that make me a gingerbread man', they laughed and i started to tease them, i am getting good at flipping almost anything sexual, i called the bigger one kinky for some reason and the others agreed in amazement lol. i locked in but got distracted talking to jackal and volcano came in then.
I was pushed and pushed and pushed, but finally i did it, i opened the bar maid and asked for her number. Don't know why i was so resistant now.
Next week i will be hitting it harder and throwing myself out there more, for now, bye..........
Comparison with Body Building or any other sporting activity.
When u first start body building u have high enthusiasm and get high results, then after a while u lose your enthusiasm but just force yourself to do it, without any goals in mind. If u keep forcing yourself to do something without any clear objectives u will actually get worse.
When guys start pick up, they get similar results.
What I will say is not to advise but demand that u abandon numbers, always attempt a proper kiss close then get the number as a last course of action. Have goals like lifting a girl onto your shoulders and running off like T Durden.
Pick Up, is not something u can keep on doing and hope u can get good at it. I have done some crazy shit, too embarassing to mention purely to challenge myself.
Commitment is essential, like re-engaging. ABC always be closing it must become hardwired into musle memory.
As far as I am concerned night and day there is no difference other than calibration which takes experience.
Yes, no time for closing AA, Phone AA, Txt Game AA, Dating AA.
