Hey guys,

I'm not sure if this belongs in the right section and I apologize if it doesn't.

I'm no expert pick up artist and I know only the very basics. I recently broke up with my ex-girlfriend, and I wanted to know if it's possible to get her back. I know some may think of it as a one-itis, but I really like this girl.

I have been nice to her during the relationship, and occasionally gotten mad at her as well and it's been kind of hectic near the end. Today, she told me she wants to break up and she's thought about it and I personally believe there might be another guy who she likes though I'm not sure.

There was a time in the past where she broke up and I basically told her we can try fresh and try to make it better (which I don't think I should have maybe?), and she accepted but I guess it didn't work out again. So this time, I told her there was things I did wrong, and her as well and wished her well in the future and at this point I'm planning to cut off communication and hope that she might try to re-initiate it?

Do you guys know another method that may work better to get her back and fall for me again? I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Getting back with someone who change their heart could be tough. Specially if she is seeing someone.

Best thing I could say is, give it sometime. Let things cool a bit. It'll give you time to figure what you did wrong(if any) and give her time to think about her mistake.

I have had this happen, but the other way around(I broke up with her first). After we been apart for 3 months. I contact her and we got back together only to have her break up with me after a month. It's been 6 month+ now and not a week go by without me thinking of her.

It'll be tough man, but be tougher and live through it. Once you get pass her you'll feel like a whole new person.

Always remember, there is still plenty of fish in the sea. You just got to start looking.

Hope this help.

Well, thanks for the advice. I'll give it some time, maybe I can try to hit back fresh after a month or two.

I hope that it works out in the end, any more advice on how I could possibly get it to work again would be nice.

I really liked her because she had a lot of qualities that I looked for in a girl. I mean, I don't like to go clubbing and I'm not a fan on parties, and I was looking for a girl like that, and she was that.

I don't know if I can find someone right like her, maybe I'm just not opening my mind up right now, but it's tough. I still want to try to make it work.
