Update on Summer dress girl:

Well I decided to contact her again after all.

Just to recap:

I asked her if she wanted to hang out on campus and get a drink on a day when she was coming to the school to drop off an essay. She never replied. Four days later I sent her a text saying too bad we missed each other, nice meeting you again and have a good summer. A day later she replies telling me pretty much the same thing I told her in the text, and she said hope we bump into each other again.

Well after that I let about a week pass. I texted her saying hi and asked how her studying was going. We had a bit of small talk back and forth, then I told her that I remembered that she was cute, and that if I don't see her soon I might not even recognize her if we ended up bumping into each other again. She replies saying "ohhh is that right? you think I'm cute eh ?" .... then I told her that yea I thought she looked cute in the dress she had on, and she said it was 'amazing' that I remembered what she wore, and also said I was sweet. I said we should go out sometime, but I messed up and bailed on the convo right away before she even answered by telling her I had stuff to do but we'll be in touch.

A day goes by and she contacts me for the first time wishing me happy Easter. Long story short, she says she was going to play some soccer by herself at home, I tell her that I kick the ball around myself at home sometimes too, she says I need a playing partner and says I can help her practice (she plays in a league), then I suggest she come to the school and we can do that.

It's funny, because I joked about us "kicking the ball around" for a first 'date' before, and now it looks like we'll be doing exactly that! lol ... anyways, she's willing to take about an hour bus ride to the school to meet me sometime later this week, so that's a good sign. So I'll see how that goes. I'm sure she'll stay for the day, we'll talk, walk around etc and have lunch too. Hopefully I can get a bit of kino going and if things go well at least kiss close at the end of the day.

What's 'funny' about this is that I was going to let her go and not bother contacting her again, but as soon as I said that I thought she was cute, it seemed she was interested all of a sudden. And even funnier, when we were texting back and forth, I took about 4 hours one time to reply because I was at the school, and when I got back to her she was saying "I was wondering what happened to you". lol ... this is from the girl who never even replied to me about going out for a drink, and then took a day to reply to my 'nice meeting you, have a nice summer' text.

Update on Computer lab girl

We've been in touch texting back and forth a little bit, and I found out that she's working two days this week on campus in the computer lab, and she says she's free to see me either/both days. So I'll be seeing her tomorrow. Hopefully if it goes well I can start a little kino, and possibly go for the kiss close at the end.

Well, things are fairly slow for me now, as exams have all finished and summer classes don't start for another 3 weeks.

Updates:

Computer lab girl

I was supposed to see her last week, but she flaked on me saying she was sick. I'm sure it was legit, as she apologized about 100 times, and was the first to ask me yesterday if we were still on for our 'date' today.

I suggested we check out this restaurant on campus that she had never been to for lunch.

It went well, we had good conversation and after lunch we walked around a little, got a tea and sat down and talked a little more until it was time for her to go to her on-campus job. So that was the second time that I've seen her now, the first time was when I got her # and we went on our quick insta-date after her shift at work.

The one thing that I did well that I don't normally do was that I used a little kino. As we were walking through a slightly crowded area I put my hand on her lower back to 'guide' her through the commotion. She seemed to respond well.

I was a little disappointed in the fact that I didn't give her a kiss when I walked her to her work. We gave each other a nice hug, but there was a lot of people around, and I've never been big on public displays of affection. I'll definitely kiss her next time, as we talked about meeting again sometime early next week.

Summer dress girl

She's working full-time now, so last week our plans to see each other fell through as she wasn't able to see me on her day off. But since then we've been texting back and forth a lot, and she's mentioned a few different ideas of things that she'd like to do when we do see each other. A few were my ideas, but she's definitely showing interest, for sure.

We have plans to see each other either this coming Monday or Tuesday. We're going to go to a mall to walk around, shop a bit, and have lunch etc.

It may sound sort of lame, but I don't know how else to call it, but we've got 'pet' names for each other that we sometimes use to address each other when we text. It's just joking around, so nothing serious or anything.

With her working so much, and the fact that she lives an hour away makes me 'worry' that there is going to be a lot of texting going on between our meetings. I'm getting better at it, but the challenge for me is to keep them relatively short and not too serious, but at the same time I don't want to be texting too much in case things get boring or stale. And on the other hand, I don't want to let too much time pass between texts or else things could easily fizzle out.

As it is now, she's initiating texts with me each day.

I guess I'll worry about it when/if it comes, but one 'fear' that I have, and it's one that I've had in the past, is that the more I talk to a girl and get to know her, the more that they seem to like me and may want me as a more long-term boyfriend. And to be honest, I'm not necessarily looking for a ONS, but I'm not really looking to get serious with either of these girls. And so far, I kind of get the impression that both of them may end up wanting more than just something casual. But, like I said, I'll cross that bridge if/when I come to it. For now, I'm only getting to know them, so I'll take things as they come.
