So I have two approaches:

1. Start dancing toward her (High energy) then lean in an say "Your hot, wanna dance?"

2. Start dancing beside her (Making eye contact, 3 seconds) and put my hand around her hip.

Any additional advice would be helpful.

I don't think so, to be honest.

Dance near her, don't face her front on and just tap her on her shoulder, look over your shoulder.

"You know...I actually like to dance to the beat" said with a smile.

This usually gets a kind of shocked, but laughing reaction. And more than usual a "Show me how you dance". I'll then take her by her hands and dance with her.

Succes in PU is in reading her bodylanguage, not just DO STUF.

geting int a girls pants is like getting into fortress, you need tactis and strategy depending on a situation. Not like im gonna blast my way in...well mate your firepower may not be strong enought as usuly is not strong enought, thats why there is PUA places like this, to find cracks in wall or to make your arsenal properly equiped

I'm sure Mystery says to stay away from the dance floor unless you possess some skill. I know you can use stupidity to make girls laugh but that is an off the cuff routine I have used in the past and don't know how well it fits in with the game in general. As PUA's we do need to know our natural strengths and be aware of our failings and use the game in those areas 1st. My skills are that most of the time i really don't care about impressing the women I see in clubs/bars, my 1st thoughts portray them as shallow and it's up to them to convince me otherwise. LOL

You don't need dancing skill to be good on the dance floor. It's definitely not newbie field for sure because you need to be 100% comfortable with touching women, getting it hot, and generally not giving a crap, but if you possess these abilities and go out the dance floor just to have fun, then you can escalate really quickly on the dance floor. Seriously sometimes it takes only seconds before a make-out, it can be really ridiculous.

Don't overthink approaching. Just try and fail and learn or succeed. It's not really in what you say but more in how you say it, body language, social proof, etc.

For example, yesterday evening I've opened this girl after eating turkish pizza with lots of garlic by asking her to smell my breath (while applying initial kino). We chitchatted, she gave me her gum by taking it out of her mouth, I thanked her and left. About 30 minutes later she interrupts me and some other guy during a conversation and asks her gum back. Needless to say, I K-closed and #-closed her later that night. The point? Show confidence, social proof and most of all HAVE FUN. Women will follow. Don't overthink!

Yeah, that seems to be a large sticking point of mine. Extreme AA. Eventually I freeze up, and there's nothing more than maybe occasional eye-contact over the club or whatever. Mostly not the good kind, just a bit of an awkward moment. So 3-second rule gets kinda shot for me...
