Hi guys
most of the time, I get rejected/ignored.
When I get a positive response, I freak out and get the hell out of there.
When I get a positive response, I think "wow, I cant believe she is actually talking to me. I better get out of here before she finds out what a loser I am." I dont know what exactly I think, but it's something like that.
so I quickly end things and later I blame myself for not continuing. "you idiot, she was so into you" is what I think afterwards.
It's like I would rather get ignored/rejected/be told to go fuck myself than get a positive response. What the hell is my problem?

I think it's your confidence. Your worry of a later rejection as she got your hopes up. Like the saying 'the higher you go, the harder you fall'.

If you feel blank out or don't know what to say or freak out I would personally just be straight up with her and tell her exactly what's going through your head. At least then you know you did something than nothing. Say something like 'WOW! I normally never get this far into a conversation with a cute/hot girl like yourself. You make me feel really good so in response, I would like to thank you over a cup of the best coffee in town. Tim Horton/McDonald coffee(goal is to make her laugh a little and being honest could give her the impression your cute AND your giving her a complement at the same time!).'
