basically, i've never had a girlfriend and never ever kissed. one night i saw a girl at a club in the distance and i liked her. she was dressed in a super mario costume and looked very very cute. not slutty in the slightest.

i was just about to leave and she came over to the bar. tipsy on dutch courage, i just leaned in and said 'i love the outfit and think you look gorgeous' and kissed her on the cheek. i quickly left but i did hear her say thankyou and could tell she was smiling when she said it, and she did try to hold my forearm with her hand but i simply bottled it and just walked out.

i just told my mate about this and he laughed and said it was creepy. what should i have said instead? keep in mind that this was my first ever time approaching a girl.

You know, that's a really brave thing you did. I wouldn't have the guts to do so.
