I am having the same problem. I have a receding hairline and even the crown area is pretty thin. I use rogaine and have been using it for about 5 months or so. I don't use it for the temple area though, just the crown.

What I suggest if you ae receding in the temple area is to adopt a new hairstyle. I have been sporting a fauxhawk and I have gotten waaaay more attention with it than I ever did with a full head of hair. Experiment with different hairstyles.

I'm in the military so I can't don anything but a fade or blow out I'm goon try to grow my hair out as long as I can as far as military goes and strat using rogaine has the rogaine worked for you tho

I feel like it has helped me, but don't expect it to be a miracle. And you have to stay on it or you lose the results. 1 can usually lasts me 2 or 3 months even though it says its a 1 month supply.

Iv had the same problem. In England theirs a product called alpec
in. It's a shampoo and my hair has started to strengthen massively and my friend has been balding and he says that his hair has grown back from nothing. It's takes a few months but it's brilliant. Check it out on google.

Well lucky for all you guys they just had a breakthrough in what causes male pattern baldness, something to do with Vitamin B-12 and re-stimulating the hair follicles. They are putting patents in now and products should be out in around 2013-14. Apparently the new products will not just stop hair loss, but actually grow it back.

Ok guys there is a few options, i may not be a pua pro but when it comes to hair loss i'm probably the best haha...

I've tried everything already from the two main ones that actually work which is minoxidil and finisteride.... minoxildil is known to work on the crown area only but i heard other reports it doesn't... it has worked for me in the extent of further hairloss but keep in mind that these products is a life time use alright?

Finisteride of however you spell it has a so called chance to make you impotent so stuff taht but i do hear its a small percentage and the medication has proven to work.

Since iam asian I have stopped using those products as it hasn't been proven to work for me... I started using 101 Hair tonics which has 10 international awards believe it or not and I do a very intensive research to find no scams on it.

Right now for you... i suggest to start using rogaine which has minoxidil in it first

hair is a long process so 3-4months before you see results soooooo start asap

smoking? drinking? drugs? all these are factors to contribute to your hairloss
if you don't look after yourself no products will help you no matter what

i've tried many things before already, there is so many scams online its not funny so don't go on believing them... the only approved products is minixodil and finasteride from the americans but the chinese has a few themselves. 101hair tonic seems to be working for me right now...
