I thought the pickup was going well until I told her my age. I'm pretty sure we're no more than 1 year apart because I used to see her all the time at my high school. After that, her response to almost everything was that she liked older guys. I negged her on it, and kept with my C&F but still no cigar.

I suggested a date, and she resisted pretty heavily.

I asked her if she was afraid she'd fall for me.

She said that she was pretty sure that she wouldn't.

I said that she wouldn't say that of she actually knew me.

She said that she was pretty sure of her decision.

I sent her: "Your choice."

That was the end. All of this went throught text.
