OK I'm with my new girlfriend, and some other mutual friends. Then one of our friends in front of everyone says to me: "you better not hurt her"... how would you respond if it's a girl saying this, and also a guy saying this?

Obviously I'm not gonna hurt her, but just want the best response... a pick up artist respone ;)

Not so sure I'd advise going with the above suggestion. Humor can work, but definitely nothing so grossly sexual. Depending on the context, whether the friend was extremely serious or not, you can use light humor. If the tone was really serious, just wrap your arm around your girlfriend, give her a kiss on the cheek, smile at everyone and tell them there's nothing to worry about. Not everything has to be a macho alpha game.

Na fuck that guy and make him look like a jerk for trying to be an asshole tough guy. He ain't going to do shit and if he does even better. It will put you in a better ranking and he will lose for his actions. Also I puts it in her head that you find her hot and want to fuck and not be tossed in the nice guy group with her loser friend. He thinks its ok for him to play body guard she is not looking for that. She wants to get laid too.
